Tank Carter was scheduled to report to a Broward County prison for driving with a revoked license on Jan. 6, 2006, but decided against it when his brother, Steelers safety Tyrone Carter, told him the Steelers had a good chance of going to the Super Bowl. So Broward Circuit Judge Stanton S. Kaplan increased Tank's sentence from 6 months to 5 years.
"Even knowing what I know now, I would do it again," Tank told the AP. "It was the greatest game in my life."
